On September 26th 2023, specialized search and rescue vessel named SAR 272 has promptly rescued 10 fishermen from the fishing boat BL 93279 TS drifting at sea
At 05:55 on September 26th 2023, Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC Vietnam) received information that fishing boat BL 93279 TS with 10 people on board, swamped and sank at 05:00 on September 26th 2023 about 22 nautical miles northwest of Con Dao. The ship owner requested urgent support.
Immediately upon receiving the information, MRCC Vietnam immediately requested the Ho Chi Minh Coastal Radio Station to broadcast EGC, informed other relevant authorities for coordination. MRCC Vietnam has also dispatched SAR 272 to carry out the mission.

SAR 272 rescued 10 fishermen of fishing boat BL 93279 TS
At 10:45 a.m on September 26th 2023, all 10 fishermen were found alive, rescued. SAR 272 brought them to Ben Dam, Con Dao safely at 12:57 the same day.
